Black cherry on the entry, along with fine tannins, hints of tea spice on the palate and a long finish with a touch of minerality. 2009 Plowbuster Unoaked Chardonnay Straw in color, with a bit of almond and pear on the nose. Clean entry moves to a mid-palate redolent of white peach. Finishes with enough acidity to pair with clam linguine in a savory white sauce. |
